Ever get to the point where ANY kind of teasing just irritates, annoys, and is generally not welcomed?  Yeah.  My mom teased me about the questionaire I filled out for a dorm at Ai and like, I snapped at her.  Basically, people think its so easy to tease me and I'll try to take it in stride but inside... I HATE IT.

I've been teased all my life.  I've gotten to the point where almost any kind just annoyed the hell outta me.

Mom was acting up.

Sister was acting up.

Computer was acting up.

Yuffie Bullshit Shoes were acting up.

I am very frustrated right now.

I even contemplated putting Yuffie away until I get REAL Yuffie shoes.  I would have if that cosplayer hadn't conned me (and she's still cosplaying and selling stuff...wtf?).

*sigh* Whatever.

REPORT TIME

Well, first off.  School started it all.  Well, actually, ended it all.

Whatever.

Basically, finals started really kicking my ass and gave me much stress.  So for like, two weeks, I was drawing, studying, spray painting, etc, whatever the hell each class had.  By the end of the week, LAST DAY of school, I got my period and went into my History class feeling like utter shit.  I took the test, thinking I am going to fail, and left.  Urgh, it was HORRIBLE.

I mean, I wanted my period, right?  Because then it meant I wouldn't get it for Japan.  So that was like, the only upside.  Then, the next day I went to my sister's graduation because she was graduating from the same college as I am.  Only, I have summer session before I graduate.  So I don't get a ceremony (thank God! Those things are a pain in the ass!)

But then, a few days before my trip, I got the call.  I GOT MY SCHOLARSHIP!! I GOT THE $15,000!! I was SO happy!  My admin was the one who told me even though he wasn't suppose to. XD I eventually got the letter during my trip, so it was cool just the same.

AND NOW ONTO MY JAPAN TRIP!

For ten days, I went to Japan, visiting three main cities.  Tokyo, Takayama, and Kyoto.

Tokyo

First, we flew 11 hours to Tokyo International Airport where we got into our bus and then met our tour guide named Yuka.  She was pretty cool and nice.  Then we got to our hotel and settled in before getting foods.  Dinner was nice, it was an American dinner. XD  This was where we met the other group that was to be combined with us.  They were from Atlanta, Georgia.  They were nice, too.  At first.  But we'll get to that later.

So for the next two days (I think?) we went to a few shrines and temples and generally exploring Tokyo.  Let me tell you, its like a condensed version of New York.  And I've never been to NY. XD It was still very awesome.  We even went to Akibahara (probably spelled that wrong, let me know!) where we went bonkers and fangirled over anything anime in it. XD  Got a couple figures from there, two Lelouch ones (one with a mask and one without) and a C2 figure. (By the way, Lelouch and C2 are from Code Geass, my recent anime obsession ... ... ... ORANGE-KUUUUUUUUN)

Takayama

Ahem.  So, then we move to Takayama which was basically a suburban/rural area of Japan.  The whole ride took nearly the whole day but it was the scenic route and VERY beautiful.  This is where I,[info]arisreagan, and three others (Jen, Sara, and Ginger) basically bonded over Avatar and other animes.  We even got them all obsessed with Code Geass when the new ep actually aired at the hotel. XD Couldn't understand a word of it due to no subs but it was AMAZING. Xingke! HOW I LOVE THEE!!

Wow, okay, lemme get back on track here.  I'll fangirl Xingke when I watch the subs XD.  Anyway!  We were only in Takayama for two nights, but the area was GORGEOUS.  Green EVERYWHERE.  We even got to go to a natural hot spring during the scenic drive.  It was very nice. ^__^

I bought a few other things for my family there, like a wind chime for my step-dad and a kitty doll for my nanny/house keeper (she was my nanny as a kid).  I got my sister an "I <3 Tokyo" back in Tokyo because she wouldn't specify what kind of shirt she wanted XD so I got her that as a joke.  She loved it, thank God.

And then I got sick.  I have no idea why, but that morning I ended up throwing up and it was the day we were leaving for Kyoto. Gah!

Kyoto

I felt better after a night not going to dinner in Kyoto and just resting.  Of course, we visited MORE shrines and temples.  Though the Matsumoto Castle and Great Eastern Castle were teh awesome!  The steps were absolute murder though! I swear, each one was like... a foot steep!  I was surprised I didn't fall.  Holy crap. We found more anime stores there too and went wild.  Now, this is where the Georgia kids got annoying. Urgh!  Well, it wasn't all of them.  Just most of them.  Especially one with the Dolche and Gabana (totally can't spell XD) glasses.  She was complaining more and more as the trip went on and they kept making fun of the fact that we want to buy anime everytime we go out shopping.  Yeah... they wanted to buy clothes.  AMERICAN clothes.  Okay, seriously, what the fuck?  They were basically importing our exports AND getting it for more money than you would normally get it IN AMERICA! Because, hello, ITS AN IMPORT! *rolls eyes*  Of course, now we all have inside jokes because of those girls and Dolche and Gabana girl, especially.

One time, we were walking back to the hotel, it was a little muggy and we were all a little tired from walking.  But it was nothing new, the whole chopping district was LONG so its not like a little more walking would hurt.  But no, everyone wanted to take the bus.  We were like, "What's a little more walking?  We've only been doing it all day!" DG Girl goes: "It's a forty minute walk, people! FOUR-OH!" she even used her fingers.  We all glared and said, "We know we don't CARE" She kinda shrank back at that, but it was true!

So of course, after that, we have been imitating that ever since, saying "FOUR OH" everywhere. XD

Anyway, all in all, it was a fun trip.  The flight back was shorter because we landed in San Francisco before going to LAX.  Got home around 7pm, Thursday.  Left 5:15pm Thursday. XD WE BROKE THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM.

Anyway, so that's all that has been happening this past month.  Got Jury Duty this week but so far hadn't had to report in. Yay!

Manders, signing off.

So I had to work today.  Two things happened.

One:  I managed to get my period today while at the register. FUN.  Grawr... I swear, I was so relieved that I had been wearing a pantiliner already so I didn't have to worry about bloody underwear.  @_@

Two: Some random customer new that I had called in sick!  I'm not kidding.  Yesterday, I didn't go to work cuz I had called in sick.  Today, some guy was like, "So how are you?  You feeling better today?"

Me: "Um, excuse me?"

Customer: "You called in sick yesterday, so I wanted to know if you are feeling better."

Me: "...how did you know I called in sick yesterday?"

Customer: "^^ I know everything."

Me: "O.o"

He just laughs and walked away.

....yeah.

Marcus, my manager, didn't even know I called in sick (I told him what happened and he was like, "o.O Wtf?").

Should I be worried?

EDIT: Oh yeah, there's actually a third thing.

For some odd reason, my nephew is avoiding me like the plague and basically doesn't like me.  I, quite frankly, don't understand why.  Last time I saw him, he was pretty happy (he's like, almost two, by the way) and today after work he was like DX at me.

At dinner, my mom told me to open the door to the backyard cuz he wanted to go outside and I was the only one standing up.  He nearly freaks because it was me opening the door and not my mom or Mike.  I swear, I don't know what's wrong with the kid.  So I basically got the steak (that I ended up not eating anyway), my salad, went to the fridge and got my Mountain Dew and just went up stairs.  I am NOT eating dinner with someone who hates me.

Whatever.

current song: "And She Said" - Lucas Prata

So I got sick today.  Well, I don't really know if its really a sickness more than that I just woke up generally feeling like crap.

Had a headache, still there a little, I  got cramps, and I think something I ate yesterday didn't agree with me.  So I called in sick at work and I feel bad because I have the mid-shift and its like... a really important shift. --___--

I've also been stressing a little because of a scholarship contest. Urgh, everything is due by May 3rd and I still gotta get my letters of recommendation and my resume.

Luckily, the letters will be done by Monday and Tuesday, its the resume I still have to work on. *dies*

Which reminded me, I had to call one of my teachers to get a heads up on it while I wrote this. ^_^;;

In any case, I hope that, despite all this, I can win it. It's $15,000! Ahhhh.

Also, I finished a new video a few days ago.

current song: "Stop & Stare" - One Republic

I'm irritated.  I'm tired.  I suddenly feel a bit nauseous (damn candy).

And I have no idea why.  Well, I'm tired because work called me at 7am but I didn't answer and instead my sister went in.  Screw  them, I got barely any sleep the night before and they expect me to get up for them today?  Fuck that.

I have no idea why I am irritated though.  Maybe cuz it's all hot in my room right now.  I dunno.

Not even Code Geass Ep 2 really cheered me up.

Urgh.

Yeah.  Whatever.
